Overview: In this game you command your squad in real time to defeat other German squads. The game has real fluent controlls and some nice looks to top it off.
Graphics: The graphics in this game are great, they are no Half Life 2 but their good. The game uses a lot of light bloom, but it gives it a nice effect. The textures are veary detailed but I wish their was more work with mouth movement.
4/5
Audio/Sound: The sound was excellent. You hear screams of pain as your squad gets lead in their body's, everything seems scilent untill you hear the wizz of bullets and the crack as the wood in a barn is being blown to peices. And if you have 1337 German Speaking skillz you can use that to counter their monouvers as the other squad leader tells them to his squad. Loads of fun.
5/5
Gameplay: The gameplay in the game is veary unique. Of course you have to kill ze Germans like in any other WWII game *if your teh allies, but you have to be an American in this game*. The cool feature in this game is the way you give commands to your squad. Instead of pressing "A" for "attack" and "R" for retreat, you actually do a RTS typa thing were you right click and a blue circle appears, you can move it anywhere, when you release it tells your squad to move their. When you see ze Germans you right click again like your telling them to move, only when you aim it at a German the circle turns red and it tells them to attack. This makes commanding your squad way easier. Props for that.
5/5
Story: The game takes a kinda Band Of Brothers type of story. You are in France for 8 days commanding your squad. 8 days dont seem like much? Well think of it as 8 days of hell, in your face Doom 3! The game starts at the D-day dropping and ends.....8 days later. Trust me, the game is LONG. Every mission takes a while to complete. Well the story kinda changes if members of your squad die, because you never know if they might've helped your ass in the future.
4/5
Multiplayer: Loads of fun. Its not typicle death match. Its other people commanding their squads while you command yours. Only the squad leader is an actuall player, the squad members are CPU's. Still fun though.
4/5
Overall: Great WWII game, if your looking for an arcady game stay away from it. This game is incredibly realistic. You can have a crosshair, but it ruins the game. If you want to just run in and kill 100 Germans with a few shots like the Wolfenstien guy, go play MOHA or of course Wolfenstein.
Buy or avoid?: For every one of you out their looking for a realistic game were you need to use teamwork to advance, go buy it now. And since its been out for a while its like 30 dollars US, so go and get it.
